5:00 AM: Departure from the hotel and transfer to the airport. Flight to Cairo (1 hour).
8:00 AM: Meet at the airport and transfer to the tour starting point, where our driver will be waiting with a sign displaying the tourists’ names.
The tour begins with a visit to one of Africa’s largest and most populated cities. Explore the Egyptian Museum, which houses an immense collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The museum has over a hundred rooms filled with unique exhibits, some dating back around five thousand years. You’ll see statues of the most famous pharaohs, such as Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, Hatshepsut, Akhenaten, and others. Marvel at the golden sarcophagi, statues, and treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. You can also enjoy a Nile River cruise (optional for an additional $10).
Lunch at a buffet restaurant (drinks not included). After lunch, visit the timeless symbol of Egypt—the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. Egypt has over 100 pyramids, but the most famous are the Pyramids of Giza, considered the first wonder of the ancient world. Giza, a suburb of Cairo, is renowned worldwide. You’ll also visit a papyrus museum, where you’ll learn about ancient papyrus-making techniques, or a perfume and oil factory. Afterward, transfer to the airport.
