Begin with a tour of Cairo, where you’ll appreciate the city’s grandeur and contrasts. Visit the Egyptian National Museum, which features over 150,000 artifacts from the era of the great pharaohs. After the museum, enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Then head to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza, where you’ll experience the awe of these ancient wonders. Also, visit a papyrus factory and a perfume museum with its enchanting scents. Enjoy dinner on a Nile cruise before returning to the hotel for the night.
Breakfast at the hotel. The tour starts with visits to Alexandria’s most famous sites. See the Citadel of Qaitbay, which stands over Alexandria’s eastern harbor and features round towers and sea-facing embrasures. Built in the 15th century by Sultan Ashraf on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, it was destroyed in an earthquake.
Explore Montaza Park with its royal residence, a lovely 150-hectare park filled with palm trees, Mediterranean pines, and flowering gardens. Then, visit the Citadel of Qaitbay and the Aquarium. Lunch will be at a seafood restaurant. After lunch, enjoy a city tour to see the Roman Theater, the beautiful Abu al-Abbas Mosque, and the renowned Alexandria Library.
Head back to Hurghada. You will arrive at the hotel around 10:00 PM.
