Cairo, the majestic Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx rise proudly from the desert sands. These monumental structures have stood as symbols of Ancient Egypt and its captivating civilization for thousands of years. Walking between the towering paws of the Sphinx and the enigmatic hieroglyphs, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported back to the time of the pharaohs.

1:00 AM: Departure from the hotel. The drive to Cairo takes about 5 hours, with views of the Red Sea coastline along the way.
Arrive in Cairo and explore one of Africa’s largest and most populous cities. We begin with a visit to Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church of St. Mary, one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, dating back to the 3rd century AD. You’ll also visit the cave church where the Holy Family sought refuge from persecution. A 40-minute boat ride on the Nile follows.
Then time for Lunch
After lunch, you’ll visit the timeless symbols of Egypt—the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. While Egypt is home to over 100 pyramids, the Pyramids of Giza are the most famous and are considered the first of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Giza, a suburb of Cairo, is renowned worldwide. You’ll also visit a papyrus museum, where you’ll learn how papyrus was made in ancient times, or you can visit a perfume and oil factory.
By the end of the tour, you will head back to Hurghada. Arrive in your hotel around 11:00 PM.
