Boat Trip to El Gouna – A Unique and Exciting Excursion from Hurghada
El Gouna is a man-made paradise created by architects and builders right in the desert along the Red Sea coast. This town is located 25 kilometers north of Hurghada and is designed in a unified architectural style—Mediterranean with Eastern touches. The buildings here are all in shades of sandy mustard.
Local millionaire Samih Sawiris made his dream come true by creating a project similar to Venice in Egypt. It might sound incredible, but today, anyone can see it with their own eyes.
El Gouna consists of over 20 islands. There are also many private islands with villas. Almost all of them are connected to the mainland by bridges, and some can only be reached by boat. During the construction of this resort, kilometers of canals were dug, filled with seawater.
