    Tour Details

Egypt is not typically associated with hot air balloon flights, but to expand this fascinating experience, we’ve organized a unique tour from Hurghada for our guests. This experience can be described as the “Egyptian Cappadocia.”

Most tourists in Luxor get to see the famous landmarks from the ground, usually by bus. However, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the ancient beauty of Luxor from above in the early morning, capturing stunning photographs of the Karnak and Luxor temple complexes, Hatshepsut’s temple, the Colossi of Memnon, the majestic Nile, and the lush green fields along its banks.

The tour is available daily. You’ll enjoy a private transfer to Luxor from Hurghada in the evening, with the return trip the next day. You’ll also have time to explore Luxor by night on your own.

    Upon Arrival in Luxor

Upon arrival in Luxor, the first part of the program begins with a visit to the “City of the Living” on the eastern bank of the Nile. You’ll explore the Karnak Temple, the largest architectural structure of the ancient world and one of the largest temple complexes globally. The Karnak Temple was built over the reigns of around 30 pharaohs, who contributed temples, pylons, chapels, and obelisks dedicated to the gods of Thebes. The temple consists of three major structures and several smaller temples within the main area. Lunch will be served buffet-style at a local restaurant (drinks not included).

Next, you’ll cross the Nile by boat to the west bank, known as the “City of the Dead,” for the second part of the program. You’ll visit the western bank and the Valley of the Dead. The tour starts with the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues standing 18 meters tall and weighing over 700 tons each. You’ll then drive through the Valley of the Dead and visit the temple of Pharaoh-Queen Hatshepsut. This monumental structure is famous for its three-tiered terraces, each with an open courtyard, covered chambers with pilasters, and sanctuaries hidden within the mountain. Afterward, you can enjoy a boat ride on the Nile with an optional visit to Banana Island for an additional $10. Then, you’ll check into the hotel.

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon Adventure

At 5:00 AM, you’ll embark on a hot air balloon adventure, soaring above Luxor, often referred to as the world’s largest open-air museum. Capture breathtaking photos in the morning light as you float in the sky. The flight lasts 45 minutes, offering an unforgettable experience and incredible photos.

    Return Journey

By the end of the tour, transfer back to Hurghada
